FaderLux viewing glass two-tone, variable gray glass

The lenses of the FaderLux limit the transmission of UV rays.

In addition, a high-quality, multi-coated UV filter is integrated so that the device offers the eye good protection during normal professional use.

It is not intended for prolonged observation of the sun.

UV protection is 99% in the darkest setting and 86% in the lightest setting.

On the housing of the FaderLux there is a scale from 1.5 to 7, which indicates by how many f-stops the incidence of light is darkened.

Using the corresponding ND values, the FaderLux Viewing Glass makes it very easy to measure which ND settings are required (e.g. for ND films and filters).

The conversion is as follows:

1.5 = ND 0.3 - 0.45 2 = ND 0.6 3 = ND 0.9 4 = ND 1.2 5 = ND 1.5 6 = ND 1.8 7 = ND 2.1
